Krissella works with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, neurodivergence, and the lasting effects of difficult or overwhelming experiences. Her approach is individualized, trauma-informed, and grounded in understanding the whole person rather than reducing someone to a diagnosis.
She incorporates approaches including EMDR, CBT, ACT, parts work, somatic interventions, and mindfulness-based strategies based on each client's needs and treatment goals.
Krissella's style is warm, direct, collaborative, and thoughtful. She works particularly well with clients who want to understand themselves more deeply while also making meaningful changes in the patterns affecting their daily lives.
She especially enjoys working with neurodivergent adults, informed by both her clinical experience and own lived experience with neurodivergence. Much of her work in this area involves helping clients translate greater self-understanding into practical changes in everyday life— burnout, masking, executive functioning, relationships, and creating environments that are more sustainable for them.
"Vocational functioning has become a particular area of interest in my work. I often help clients explore patterns around obtaining or maintaining employment, workplace fit, accommodations and support needs, and the interaction between neurodivergence and the demands of different work environments." -Krissy
